A sweetly wicked and at times cleverly funny witch, in life, V. was a specialist in necromantic arts (specifically in regards to divination) and she wishes to help teach someone the same now that she’s passed on and can give a broader perspective on things. She was a bit of a homebody and kept mostly to herself, but she’s still got a sharp tongue and mind, and will happily put it to use to train the next generation of necromancers “before the true art becomes lost.”
You may think, given her particular leanings, that she would have had a gothic appearance or outlook on things, but she’s actually rather cheerful and sunny in disposition. She loves pretty flowers, especially pink and purple, and enjoys lazing with a good book in a sunny spot and a pot of hot, herbal tea. She loves working with herbs and flowers, particularly the smells they evoke, and may even urge those who want to work with her to spruce up their space a bit with something more lighthearted and accepting of the aspects of death, like brightly colored stained glass, feathers, flower cuttings, or dried bouquets.
As you may have gathered, her familiar has followed her in death. A small orange tabby named Toadstool, you’ll find him to be a clever little creature (with a fascinating wicked side of his own) as well, and an excellent guide when it comes to peeking through the door to other worlds.
Some of their abilities include: Companionship, teach necromantic arts (mediumship, bone divination/osteomancy, etc.), herbalism, some alchemy, boost magical workings, secrets (both divining and keeping), happiness, concentration, shadow work, astral work, gift knowledge, inspiration, creativity, direct other spirits/entities, connecting and communicating with spirits of the deceased, promoting connection and aid from your familiars, spirit guides and ancestors, aid in developing natural supernatural powers and psychic ability, etc.
A message to their future keeper: “I know you. You don’t know it yet, but I do. The bones don’t lie, and they have something to tell you. Let me show you how to understand what they have to say.”

Preconjure - V. the Human Witch and Familiar, Toadstool (Spirits)
Beings with dark arts energy can be overwhelming to those who are not ready to experience them. Side effects of dark arts companions can include headaches, nausea, flu-like symptoms, nightmares, a feeling of being drained, and streaks of bad luck (and while this usually only lasts for a few days or perhaps a week or two at most, it can feel like a lifetime in the moment, and can potentially last much longer). You can always ask the being to ease up on their energy around you until you are more used to them, but be sure you are ready for them before you invite a being of this nature into your life.
While I take many precautions in my contractual bindings with them, these beings may also cause sudden and intense changes in your life that can be problematic to those who are not ready. If you are feeling called but uncertain whether you can handle it, talk to me before purchasing this listing so we can discuss your level of skill and I can find a suitable being that won't overwhelm you.
